EHS Manager

  •  Create and manage the environmental health and safety program to ensure a safe and fully compliant work environment.
  • Manage continuous improvement efforts for health and safety initiatives and standards.
  •  Ensure all team members have the appropriate safety resources to be effective and safe in their role.
  •  Maintain and train on our Injury and Illness Prevention Program.
  • Develop relationships with management to create mutually rewarding safety improvement plans
    Manage site environmental health and safety teams, including the Emergency Response Team (ERT), Ergonomics Committee, and Spill Response Team.
  • Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly metrics/reports to identify trends and/or areas for improvement.
    Standardize health and safety to remain consistent and thorough in our efforts.
  • Manage team member safety and health training to comply with our IIPP and applicable regulations.

Support the Quality Management System (QMS)

  • Develop and maintain routine regulatory reports required by the various environmental permits, conduct required activities to maintain the permits, and file reapplications necessary to meet business needs.
  • Oversee investigations of all accidents and near misses to ensure root cause, containment, and corrective actions are completed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
